A mesh body is a component of an avatar in Second Life and is used in conjunction with a mesh head. Though some creators of mesh bodies include a mesh head with their products, it is more common for these to come from different creators.
Mesh bodies often come with a particular skin tone, but is common for them to be used with a body skin that matches to tone of a head skin used on the mesh head.
