A mesh head is a component of an avatar in Second Life and is used in conjunction with a mesh body. Though some creators of mesh bodies include a mesh head with their products, it is more common for these to come from different creators.
Though mesh heads often come with a particular skin tone, it is common for them to be used with a head skin that matches to tone of a body skin used on the mesh body.
