The Lara body by Maitreya is the most popular mesh body for avatars in Second Life, accounting for over 20% of all mesh bodies In-world.
In late 2023, Maitreya introduced the LaraX body and stopped development of Lara. Recognizing the popularity of the regular Lara body, Maitreya includes a copy of it whenever a resident purchases a LaraX, giving them two bodies for the price of one.
