The Stylecards website uses a number of templates that serve a few purposes. For people who create articles, they offer a quick way of entering some information without the need to understand advanced wikitext topics. For people who read the articles, they provide pertinent information at a glance, and can increase the visual appeal of an article.
Infoboxes
An infobox is a box that will appear at the top of an article on the right side. On the Stylecards website, these are standardized to 400 pixels wide, and the height will depend on how much information it contains.
