Ever since last summer, when I realized the Summer 2026 issue would be our tenth, I knew it would have to be something special. While it’s not as momentous as celebrating ten years of publication, it still feels significant.

It might seem strange since we’ve been putting our this magazine for two and a half years now, but it finally feels like we’re hitting our stride. On my side of things, it’s often a mad rush to get things done during the last two weeks before publication. Between RL commitments and SL distractions, I’m usually over-caffeinated and working into the wee hours to make sure the magazine is put out on the first of the month.

Stylecards № 10 is extra special, because not only is it our biggest issue yet, it’ll be published a week ahead of schedule, and I’m not working myself to the bone to do so. There’s a three-day weekend in my neck of the woods and I’m using the time wisely.

This issue is also notable for reasons personal and professional. On the personal side of thing, in the middle of March, just after publishing Stylecards № 9, I managed to injure my right wrist. Being right-handed, it’s my natural instinct to use my right hand to do stuff, and this is probably the reason why it’s being annoyingly slow to heal. The medical care I’ve received has been excellent, but can’t cure impatience.

On the professional side of things, we need only look at all the names listed on the masthead. A few have previously been featured in our pages, but most of them are making their Stylecards débuts and we’re happy to have them. It was a joy working with each of them and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Did I mention it’s our biggest issue yet? It is. From the front cover to the back it’s 176 pages of periodical excellence. We hope you find this issue of Stylecards as special as we do.

Ciao,
